Do you hate Mondays? Even though it is quite a popular sentiment, you don’t have to. Sometimes I think it is easy to hate things just because everybody else does. But hating and negativity just bring us down. If you would like to start your week on a more positive note, read on to discover how to get excited about Mondays.
This is the day the LORD has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24

How to Get Excited About Mondays

When you realize that God made today, and that God only makes good things, it gives you a different perspective on Mondays. Perhaps we are the ones who make Mondays yucky because of our bad attitudes.
But when we thank God for today, thank Him that we are still alive, and rejoice in Him (because He is good and faithful), then it is easy to get excited about Mondays (and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and every other day.)

I created the image above to help you feast on this Scripture.
Save the image and set it as your lockscreen on your phone.
Or print it out and place it somewhere where you will see it several times a day.
This week try fasting from the following negative thoughts/sayings:
  • I hate Mondays.
  • I’m having a bad day.
  • I’m not happy.
Anytime you have these thoughts, declare Psalm 118:24 instead of these negative thoughts.
  • Don’t let a bad moment ruin your entire day.
  • Expect miracles. Look for miracles. God performs miracles every day, but we often miss them because we are too busy or too distracted.
  • Let negative thoughts be a trigger to rejoice in God’s goodness.
