Are you wondering if Amazon Prime is worth it? Awhile back I signed up for a free trial of Amazon Prime so I could get free 2-day shipping on my order. I planned to cancel it before my trial ended. But, I found out that there are so many more Amazon Prime Benefits besides free 2-day shipping. I now consider my Amazon Prime membership one of my smartest investments and use it a lot for so many things, including Bible journaling.
Here are my favorite Amazon Prime Benefits for Bible Journaling
Prime Reload
Want to get 2% back on EVERY purchase you make at Amazon? Well, now you can, and it is quite easy using Prime Reload. Simply purchase a Amazon Gift Card using your checking account and use that gift card to pay for your purchases. Prime members earn 2% rewards every time they reload their Gift Card Balance with their checking account. Pretty cool, huh? And it doesn’t require using a credit card and running the risk of going in to credit card debt.
Prime Day
Amazon Prime Day is kinda like Christmas in July!
Now in it’s fourth year, Amazon Prime day has been bigger each year with sales in 2018 expected to top previous years’ sales. Amazon Prime Day is only for those with prime membership and is predicted to be even bigger than Black Friday for total online sales.
This year Amazon Prime Day is actually a day and a half, beginning the afternoon of Monday, July 16th and ending at midnight on July 17th.
If you don’t have a Prime membership, click here to get a free trial so you can shop the events leading up to Prime Day also. If you are a student, you can get a free 6-month trial. You can choose to pay yearly or monthly.
(You can always cancel after the Prime sale, although, like I said already, I love my Prime membership and use it constantly.)
If you already have a Prime membership, you definitely will want to take advantage of this sale.
If you missed Prime Day this year, well, they actually have lots of exclusive deals just for Prime members throughout the year.
Amazon Prime Music
I love listening to Praise & Worship music while Bible journaling, and also while washing dishes, cleaning my house, etc. With Prime Music, I can play lots of really great worship music without having to buy lots of CDs or pay an additional fee for a streaming service. I was so thrilled to find out this service in included with my Amazon Prime membership. Amazon Prime Music features a growing selection of 2 million songs, always ad-free and on-demand.
If you want even more songs, you might check out Amazon Music Unlimited.
Prime Photos
How about free, unlimited photo storage? Yes, please!
This may or may not be directly related to Bible journaling, but I bet you have plenty of cherished photos that you would hate to lose. Personally, I take photos of all my Bible journaling pages, so this is a great way to keep track of those as well.
Prime Photos offers free online photo storage to Prime members, who can save and share unlimited photos on desktop, mobile, and tablet. Share unlimited photo storage with up to 5 people, and collect photos together in the Prime Photos Family Vault. With the Prime Photos mobile and web apps, photo backup has never been easier. Use the iOS or Android mobile apps to auto-save your photos, then safely delete them from your phone to free up space on your device. Upload photos from your desktop computer, and store them safely all in Prime Photos web app. Access your content anywhere, across desktop, mobile, and tablet.
Free Shipping
Yes, I admit it. I love getting Fast, Free Shipping! You really can get free 2-day shipping on most items found on Amazon. Some items you can even get free 1-day shipping. When I finally decide that I want/need something, well, I want it NOW (or at least as soon as possible)! How about you?
And yes, I purchase a lot of my Bible journaling supplies from Amazon… things like journaling Bibles, Prismacolor colored pencils & watercolor pencils, Tombow dual brush pens, Staedler black pens, double-sided adhesive, washi tape, PaperMate InkJoy gel pens, clear plastic trays for organizing my pens & pencils, etc.
There are many more Amazon Prime benefits, but these are my favorite and the ones I use most often. What are your favorite Amazon Prime benefits?
