You are invited to join us for the December Delight in the Word Challenge. I have even created a festive calendar for you to download of the Advent Reading Plan.
O, come, let us adore HIM!
I just love Advent – the time of preparation and the beginning of Christmas time. I love decorating my home for Christmas and getting in a festive mood. But there are so many things that can distract us from the true meaning of Christmas. That is why I am so excited about this Advent reading plan, which is designed to help us keep Christ in Christmas. It focuses on who Jesus is and why he is worthy to be praised.
This Advent reading plan schedule is pretty much the same as the Love God Greatly Advent reading plan, which is on Bible.com and the YouVersion Bible app. So if you want to read it on your phone, sign up HERE for the Love God Greatly Adven reading plan.
Then be sure to join my Delight in the Word facebook group for daily inspiration, a coloring contest, giveaways and more.
I will have lots of fun goodies (like coloring pages, wall art, gift tags, etc.) to correspond to these Scriptures available to Delight in the Word CLUB MEMBERS. If you haven’t already, join the club now at: https://patreon.com/joditt
PARTICIPATING IN THE CHALLENGE IS EASY!
- Pick one (or more) Scriptures to use as a starting point to delight in the Word.
- Then get creative using writing, lettering, doodling, Bible journaling, painting, coloring, etc. —whatever will help you hide it in your heart and meditate on it the entire week.
- Finally, take a pic and post it on social media using #DITWchallenge.
- Participating in the monthly DITW challenge will give you:
- a starting point, to eliminate overwhelm and decision fatigue
- motivation and inspiration
